So.
I wrote a standalone just now.
Yeah, it sucks.
Yeah, I don't care.
It's on a McFly site, so hence, it's a McFly fic.
Oh get over it and read.
Tell me if it's any good.
I personally think it's horrid.
But meh, what do I know?
Some Say
When I met you, everyone always told me how you would hurt me.
Saying how the infamous musician would never be able to cause anything but hurt.
Funny how things turned out, isn't it?
It was never you who hurt me.
It was always me who hurt you.
Every time I made one of those stupid decisions, you would sit back and take the hurt.
You said you never cared how much I hurt you, as long as you never hurt me.
I never expected you to take it after all that time.
But you always did.
Some things don't change.
"Hannah! I'm home!" You yelled running through the front door.
You had been on tour, for four months.
Four months is a long time.
A lot can happen in four months, you know.
Guess you never thought that much could.
"Hannah? Babe, you home?" You called out walking into our bedroom.
I didn't even glance up from my course work.
I knew you'd find me eventually.
"Oh, hey. I thought you had gone out." You said sitting down next to me.
"Nope." I muttered, not really caring if you were there or not.
"Well I'm loving the welcome back I get." You muttered sarcastically before getting up.
"What do you want me to say? You've been gone for four months. Four months, Danny."
You froze on your way out of the room.
"You know this is my job, I can't just drop it, as much as I'd like to sometimes."
Your voice held no emotion.
Just like me, no emotion.
"You think I don't know that? I get that you have your job. Happy joy, you have a job."
I yelled standing up. I was sick of this, I wanted you to get mad.
I wanted you to yell. I wanted you to throw something. Anything.
I was so tired of you sitting there and taking my crap.
It was what everyone in my life had done.
Sat back and watched. A little input here, a little input there.
But other than that, nothing.
We stood there for a long time, a very long time, just staring at each other.
Then you decided to walk away.
"Fine, walk away." I yelled at your retreating back.
"What is wrong with you, Hannah? You've never been this way. Usually you welcome me back.
Today you didn't even acknowledge me. What did I do to you, to have you mad at me?
I take your crap, even if it hurts me. You yell at me, I don't yell back. I take it. Even when you hurt me."
You said quietly. I could tell by the way you said it, you didn't mean it.
You always had this way, that if something was bothering you, you would confront it.
I knew then one of the guys put this in your head.
Even though it was true, you didn't believe it.
You didn't want to believe it.
"Lemme guess... Tom?"
I spoke, waiting for your response.
You slowly shook your head.
"Right.. Then it was Harry."
You nodded.
"Well I guess then you should listen to Harry. I know I hurt you.
It's my way. I can't accept other people hurting me, but it's all I do.
Cause hurt. It's all I'll ever do. I won't change."
You stared at me, speechless.
Then it hit you, it was true.
You knew we couldn't carry on that way.
But you didn't care. You just wanted to be together.
I packed my things, and you stood there in silence.
"Hannah. Don't go."
You begged as I was about to walk out the door.
I slowly shook my head.
"Danny, you know this isn't going to work.
I can't change, it's too late.
Find someone, who's better than me.
It won't be that hard."
I said before walking out that door for the last time.
Some things will never change.
No matter what anyone says.
Seems like everything we knew.
Turned out were never even true.
Don't trust, things will never change.
You must be dreaming.
When I met you, everyone always told me how you would hurt me.
